Get to Know Me

I want to welcome you to Mindful Matters. I am Jacqueline Armand, Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, gratefully serving residents across the states of Washington and Florida. I graduated from the University of South Florida with a Master's Degree in Social Work in 2000. I then gained critical experience treating military veterans at the James A. Haley Veteran's Hospital, Tampa Vet Center and then expanded into private practice.

Before raising my four children, I ran a private practice for eight years counselling individuals, families, and couples. Entering motherhood as a professional therapist gave me a deeper insight into the challenges facing many families and adolescents.

Today I am the founder and CEO of Mindful Matters, LLC. Mindful Matters is built on my love of helping others combined with the personal and professional experience acquired over my career.

I am a strengths-based therapist who has had the privilege to work with people from many diverse backgrounds and needs. I see clients who have experienced loss, trauma, PTSD, relationship distress, anxiety, depression, social anxiety, alcohol/substance abuse, difficulty with low self-esteem, and much more. I would be honored to walk this therapy journey with you.
